Thank you and welcome to P.D.S. After much feedback and testing by several of you, we now have a sprayer designed for your application of sealer on the finished product. I wish to personally thank David Posey & Chris Volkamer for all their positive feedback and help in creating a sprayer that handles you needs quite well.

The new Part Numbers are 5GTS-BM and 3GTS-BM. the numbers stand for our 5 gallon and 3 gallon sprayers. Each sprayer comes with a straight polyurethane hose with a brass swivel and trigger valve, along with a 22 inch long metal extension wand. The nozzles took the most work to find the right pattern and volume to produce the expect results and keep the high cost of sealer to a minimum.

The recommended nozzle is a FT-9502 which comes standard on the new build, but we normally add two more nozzles, a FT-8002 and a FT-6502. When purchasing nozzles on order to understand the numbering, the first two numbers is how wide the pattern is, so a 95 is 95 degrees wide and the second number relates to the volume of sealer being applied. This allows you to make changes that different brands of sealer need to perform correctly. You may have a fairly viscous, (thick), sealer or one that is not as viscous. In some states there is a need for sealers that have no VOC'S, (volatile organic compounds), a know health hazard, and thus regulated to differing degrees, depending on local safety standards and enforcement.

All of our sprayers come standard with Viton O-rings and seals. We also carry the same O-rings in EDPM ( ethylene propylene diene monomer), which worked better with a non VOC sealer required in PA. Right behind each nozzle is a combination check valve/50 mesh strainer which eliminates dribble down from the extension wand keeping sealer from being wasted. As soon as you release the trigger the resulting drop in pressure causes the check valve to close. being right behind the nozzle you do not have the normal dribble that other sprayers do.

Extra seal kits are available, part# SK-1 and include 1 Viton O-ring for the lid, 1 spare safety relief valve with Viton O-ring, which is built into the tank lid and 1 air inlet valve (tire valve) with Viton Grommet.

Welcome to our new blog site, designed to keep you up to date on our products and new applications we have come up with. Your feedback will be vital to make this as informative as possible. We will cover new idea's share tips and suggestions for making your experience with our tank sprayer as positive as possible.

Over the years we have gone from building one single tank sprayer to now building custom versions to fill the many needs our customers have. I will offer photos of new versions and explain their intended uses. we have built sprayer for many industries, trades and special applications. It is through your inquires, feedback and suggestions that have been able to create a reliable way for applying chemicals, without the frustrations you had when dealing with old style hand pump sprayers. Our sprayers have been in daily use for over 22 years and most of them have little to no wear problems.

I will admit right upfront that I am a true novice at blogging and hope to learn more in practice. Hopefully as I improve, you will find the article informative and helpful.
